FIORICET (fear´ah-set) - ORAL PAIN RELIEF MEDICATION

Drug Uses: This medicine is a sedative and pain reliever. Its uses are to relieve tension headaches and mild to moderate pain.
How Used: Fioricet comes in table and capsule form. It is taken by mouth. One - 2 tablets every 4 hours as needed. Dosage should not exceed 6 tablets in a 24 hour period. Because of the potential for physical dependence, repeated and extended use of this product is not recommended.
Precautions-Warnings: Fioricet can cause you to become less alert or drowsy. Because of this potential effect, hazardous activities that require full alertness, operating dangerous machinery or driving is not recommended until you know your response to this drug. Consult with your doctor before taking Fioricet if you are being treated for severe depression or have a history of severe depression or drug abuse. Exercise caution with this drug if you are in a weakened condition or elderly, if you have kidney or liver problems, or if you have serious abdominal trouble. Inform your doctor immediately if you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant because Fioricet can affect a developing baby. It will appear in breast milk.
